Pressure Snubbers

Pressure snubbers are devices used to protect pressure measuring instruments from sudden pressure increases or fluctuations in process systems. Pressure snubbers are an all-metal construction that can be used in a variety of industries, including power generation, oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, and water and wastewater. It is especially useful in biogas and biodiesel applications.

Application features:

• Ability to select porosity settings based on the process media
• Filter disk that is less likely to clog than orifice-type devices
• Available in three different models with varying maximum allowable working pressures
• Construction materials include 303 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, brass, and Monel
• Ideal for use in industries such as power generation, oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, and water and wastewater
• Process connection: 1/4 NPT male, 1/2 NPT male
• Maximum allowable working pressure: 10,000 psi to 15,000 psi, depending on the model.
