This sensor uses a circular magnetic field to contact the magnetic field of the movable object used to determine position. Measuring the time difference between the electrical induction current impulses and the mechanical-elastic density wave generated by the magnet is used to determine the position. Advantages to this method will have resistance to dirt, humidity and dust, and is wear and maintenance-free. A protection class up to IP68/IP69 is offered along with resistance to shock to 50g. Other advantages include a magnet guidance distance up to 19mm linearity of 0,02% f.s. and measurements ranging up to 5 750 mm. This sensor is best suited where other measuring principles would fail.
