Conductivity Sensors

Conductivity sensors are valuable instruments across numerous industries. Their main function is to accurately measure the electrical conductivity of a solution, providing crucial data for many industrial processes.

These sensors are typically designed to be either screw-in or retractable (withdrawable), depending on the specific requirements of the operation. This flexibility in design ensures they can be inserted into pipelines or vessels without the need for costly bypasses or interrupting the process for maintenance, which is a significant advantage in many industrial settings.

One notable feature of these sensors is their use of annular carbon or stainless-steel electrodes, depending on the model, which resist polarization and thus require minimal maintenance. This attribute is coupled with the sensors’ robust construction that ensures a long operational life, superior reliability, and quality.

These sensors can measure a wide range of conductivity levels, from ultra-pure water to more conductive solutions, making them highly versatile. They are also capable of withstanding high pressures and temperatures, and they usually include an integrated temperature sensor, providing additional essential data.

Application Features:

  • Broad Measurement Range: Digital conductivity sensors can measure a wide range of conductivity levels, making them useful across a variety of industries and applications.
  • Robust Construction: They are typically designed for direct insertion into pipelines or vessels, ensuring durability and long-term performance in challenging industrial environments.
  • High Pressure and Temperature Tolerance: These sensors can operate under high temperature and pressure conditions, making them suitable for many industrial applications.
  • Easy Installation and Maintenance: With screw-in or retractable designs, these sensors can be easily installed and maintained without interrupting the operational process or incurring additional costs for bypasses.
  • Integrated Temperature Sensor: Most conductivity sensors include a built-in temperature sensor, providing additional valuable data for certain applications.
  • Low Maintenance Requirement: The use of annular carbon or stainless-steel electrodes, resistant to polarization, results in low maintenance requirements.
  • High Quality and Reliability: The design and construction methods used in these sensors result in high-quality devices with a reputation for long life and reliability.
