Compensating Cables

Compensating cables are necessary components in temperature measurement systems, used for connecting thermocouples to their respective measuring or control instruments. They come in various types, with different insulation materials to suit a range of environmental conditions and application requirements. Among the available options, some common insulation types include Fiberglass Insulated, Silicone Insulated, S/S Fiberglass Insulated, Teflon Insulated, and PVC Insulated compensating cables. Each type of insulation provides unique properties, making them suitable for specific applications in various industries.

Fiberglass Insulated Compensating Cable:

These cables use fiberglass insulation, providing excellent heat resistance and good electrical insulation properties. They are suitable for applications involving high temperatures and harsh environments, commonly used in furnaces, ovens, and other high-temperature processes.

Silicone Insulated Compensating Cable:

Silicone insulated compensating cables offer excellent flexibility, heat resistance, and electrical insulation properties. They are well-suited for applications in the food and beverage industry, pharmaceuticals, and other industries requiring flexibility and resistance to extreme temperatures.

S/S Fiberglass Insulated Compensating Cable:

This type of compensating cable features a stainless steel (S/S) braided sheath over fiberglass insulation, combining the benefits of fiberglass insulation with enhanced mechanical protection. These cables are ideal for applications that require additional protection against abrasion or physical damage, as well as resistance to high temperatures.

Teflon Insulated Compensating Cable:

Teflon insulated compensating cables offer excellent chemical resistance, heat resistance, and electrical insulation properties. They are suitable for applications in environments with harsh chemicals, high temperatures, and where low smoke and flame characteristics are necessary, such as in petrochemical plants and aerospace industries.

PVC Insulated Compensating Cable:

PVC insulated compensating cables provide good electrical insulation, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. They are best suited for applications in low-temperature environments and general-purpose use, where extreme temperature resistance is not required.

Application Features:

  • High-temperature resistance: Fiberglass, Silicone, and Teflon insulated cables
